Keggle Brewing is proud to recognize a home brewing club every month. A recognized homebrew club does several things besides just brewing beer. Outstanding clubs do many things in their community that set them apart – perhaps members volunteer their time for charity events or schedule and hold educational brewing demonstrations. Several clubs conduct competitions to challenge and reward fellow homebrewers such as TRASH Competition. Several clubs hold serving events that benefit charitable organizations such as our local event Brewing Up a Cure. If you would like your club to be a Keggle Brewing home brewing club of the month, tell us about your club. We will offer your current club members 10% any purchase that month. All we ask is you send us a small club bio, your logo or images you want displayed, add a link to us on your website and add us to your newsletter month.
Shenandoah Valley Homebrewers Guild (SVHG) was founded in the spring of 2012 to promote the advancement of homebrewing, beer education, & beer appreciation. Our monthly meetings, held at locations rotating throughout the Northern Shenandoah Valley on the third Friday of every month, include education & instruction, cooperative brewing, competitions, & beer tastings. We celebrate our brewing successes, commiserate over our brewing problems, but, most importantly, come together in a relaxed & friendly environment to encourage the responsibility of drinking and brewing beer.
As a Guild, we decided to seek and obtain a "charity" status. Using our status and our award winning home brew, we host and attend events (home brew competitions and beer festivals) in the Norther Shenandoah Valley to raise funds for local institutions in need. As we promote beer education and brewing at events, we use the opportunity to improve our community. Take a look at what they do for a cause they believe in.
